Stick It Like a Pro
How to Slap Your Stickers (the Right Way)
Whether you’re customizing your deck, your laptop, or your helmet — make it stick clean. Here's how to throw down your Atticus stickers without bubbles or fails.
🎨 REGULAR STICKERS (Vinyl Style)
1. Clean the spot.
Wipe down the surface with a dry cloth (or use rubbing alcohol if it’s real grimy). Dirt kills the stick.
2. Peel with care.
Slow and steady. Don’t rush or wrinkle it.
3. Stick from the center out.
Line it up, then press the middle down first. Smooth out to the edges to avoid air bubbles.
4. Press it in.
Rub it in with your fingers or a soft card (like a skate tool card or ID) to lock it in place.
5. Leave it alone.
Give it a few hours to fully bond. No picking or peeling
💧 WATERPROOF DECALS (Clear Transfer Style)
These are built tough — great for water bottles, boards, helmets, windows, and more.
1. Clean the surface.
No dust, dirt, or grease. Use rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner for best results.
2. Rub the front.
Before peeling, press firmly over the clear top layer to make sure the design sticks to it.
3. Peel the backing off.
Go slow. Make sure the whole design lifts with the clear transfer sheet.
4. Stick it down.
Line it up, press the decal onto the surface, and rub it in from the center out — fingers or a card work great.
5. Peel the top layer.
Once it’s stuck, slowly peel the clear top layer off. If any part lifts, press it back down and rub again.
6. Wait it out.
Let it sit for a few hours before getting it wet. After that, it’s ready to ride rain or shine.
You’re all set. Tag your stuff, rep your style, and make it yours.
